Starting from April 2019, we became an official partner of the Red Cross of the City of Skopje with a Project for Donation aimed at supporting and assisting homeless people, in which LL Catering will donate a hot meal at the Homeless Shelter in Skopje every Wednesday for a year.
The purpose of this donation is to contribute to the Red Cross's responsibility towards improvement of the living conditions for this population.
We joined this already established project by the Red Cross and several non-governmental associations in order to enrich the conditions that these citizens have in their everyday life. Within the donation, employees in the company will be included as socially responsible citizens, who through various activities will try to contribute to the best implementation of this project, and assure homeless people in society think about them and take care of them.
"THE HOMELESS SHELTER in Momin Potok was opened in 2008 and has been operating for 10 years now. This is the only place in Skopje where homeless people receive services from a doctor, social worker and psychologist, as well as hygienic and barber services. Every working day is open for consultation, taking a bath, changing unclean clothes, getting a hot meal, obtaining medicines, examinations with a doctor as well as extracting personal documentation and other activities. On a daily basis in this shelter are served more than 60 homeless people. We encourage every initiative for involvement by individuals, collaborators, institutions through which the support of this category of people is strengthened and creates socially responsible behavior."- say from the Red Cross of the city of Skopje.
Homelessness is difficult in every aspect. To give all of our contribution to the creation of a humane society and to use the capacity for social solidarity by recognizing homelessness as a problem affecting all citizens.
